Drink me

Image: Sir John Tenniel (1820-1914) There seemed to be no use in waiting by the little door, so she went back to the table, half hoping she might find another key on it, or at any rate a book of rules for shutting people up like telescopes: this time she found a little bottle on it, ("which certainly was not here before," said Alice), and tied round the neck of the bottle was a paper label, with the words "DRINK ME" beautifully printed on it in large letters. It was all very well to say "Drink me," but the wise little... [Lire la suite]

Camille Rose Garcia

Golden Castle Princess   Another one of her paintings from the Ultraviolenceland series. I like this one because if you saw it from far away it could seem cute and sugary but when you get a close up, there are evil faces and characters.

Camille Rose Garcia

Doomsday animalsAn americain artist I like very much. Her paintings are made with different materials (glitter, varnish etc...) I like the caracters that live in her paintings because they are very original and strange. The colours she uses are very interesting too.

ALICE was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, "and what is the use of a book," thought Alice, "without pictures or conversations?' So she was considering, in her own mind (as well as she could, for the hot day made her feel very sleepy and stupid), whether the pleasure of making a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies, when... On the swings

This is the first photo we did. It was cold and the swings were wet! We went into a little playground near our house. I'm not sure where the idea of the swings came from...Alex said she'd seen a film where a girl got knifed and left on a swing, so i think that's why we did it And added wrope.

The Wendy House

This photo comes from Ginger Snaps but I don't think it turned out too well because originally Alex & me were both supposed to be sitting near the wendy house. In the end we didn't because we only had one baby chair.

Churchyard

I took these photos with a friend over the Winter holidays. We set off very early in the morning to get the right light. At the beginning we were thinking of doing a sought of Giniger Snaps project. We wanted to do the same scenes. In the end we had ideas of our own.
